2015.12.13: Prof. Wen attended the General Meeting of Japan Micro-Nano Bubble Society Corporation (MNBSC) in Tokyo.

2015.12.3: The Japanese-Taiwanese Cooperative Programme on Nano Device "Advanced Test Technology Development for Realizing Nano-CMOS LSI Circuits", sponsored by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and conducted jointly by Prof. Wen and Prof. J.-L. Huang (National Taiwan University), was externally evaluated and ranked "A".

2015.11.25: The ATS steering committee approved the proposal of holding the 28th IEEE Asian Test Symposium in Calcutta, India in 2019, for which Prof. Wen will serve as its Program Committee Co-Chair.

2015.11.24: A paper from the Wen Lab, titiled "Logic/Clock-Path-Aware At-Speed Scan Test Generation for Avoiding False Capture Failures and Reducing Clock Stretch", was presented at the 24th IEEE Asian Test Symposium in Bombay, India. It is the first paper on effectively reducing test clock stretch with a sofisticated test generation method rather than costly hardward solutions.

2015.11.5: Prof. Wen attended the 11th IEEE Conference on ASIC in Chengdu, China, and gave an invited talk titled "Test Power Noice and Its Reduction in At-Speed Scan Testing".

2015.11.1: Prof. Wen became an advisor / consultant for Silicon Valley Ventures, Co. Ltd.

2015.10.1: Prof. Wen became a councilor of Japan Micro-Nano Bubble Society Corporation (MNBSC).

2015.9.28: Prof. Wen visited Prof. D. Xiang at Tsinghua University (China) with three graduate students for an exchange event. Students presented their research work and got adavice from professors. Professors also gave comprehensive talks on related topics to students from both sides.

2015.9.4: Prof. H.-J. Wunderlich of University of Stuttgart (Germany) visited the Iizuka Compus of Kyushu Institute of Technology with Dr. M. Kochte and Mr. E. Schneider from his research group and gave a talk titled "R³S: Reliable Runtime Reconfigurable Systems". This talk was live-streamed to attendees from Hefei University of Technology (China) and University of Calcutta (India) as an activity of the Virtual-Lab Initiative.

2015.9.3: A joint workshop under the Germany-Japan Bilateral Joint Research Project was held in Fukuoka and attended by researchers and students from Kyushu Institute of Technology and Univeristy of Stuttgart.

2015.8.31: A special educational event was held. Prof. Holst of Kyushu Institute of Technology gave a talk titled "Educating Future Innovators" and Mr. John K. Moriwaka of Moriwaka Medical, Inc. made a motivatinoal presentation on how to start a company.

2015.8.9: Prof. Wen arrived in Seattle, USA, to attend the 2015 Joint Statistical Meetings.

2015.5.24: Prof. Wen arrived in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, to attend the 20th European Test Sympsium.

2015.5.19: Mr. Jorgen Jakob Friis, CEO and Insight Navagator of Illimunaut (Denmark), visited the Wen lab with Mr. Moriwaka of Moriwaka Medical, Inc. and gave a talk titled "Adaptive Sensor based Interactions and Games as a Tool for Visualization and Motivation in Rehabilitation".

015.4.16: Prof. Wen visited Dalian Institute of Science and Technology and talked to its students.

2015.4.1: Prof. Wen received a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotions of Science) Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative areas on "High-Quality False-Test-Avoidace Test for Next-Generation Low-Power LSI Circuits".

2015.3.26: The commencement of the class 2014 of Department of Computer Sciecne and Electronics was held in Iizuka. The photo of the graduating students of the Kajihara-Wen research group is here.

2015.3.20: A farewell party for the graduating students of the Kajihara-Wen research group was held in Iizuka.

2015.3.18: The 7th LSI Test Seminar sponsored by Dependable Integrated Systems Research Center (DISC) of Kyushu Institute of Technology was held in Fukuoka. Faculty members and graduate students from Nihon University, Kyoto Sangyo University, Oita University, Kyushu University, and Kyushu Insitute of Technology attended this one-day event.

2015.3.17: The 2nd Test Spring Seminar sponsored by Dependable Integrated Systems Research Center (DISC) of Kyushu Institute of Technology was held in Fukuoka. Prof. S. M. Reddy (University of Iowa) gave a lecture in the morning and Dr. N. Mukherjee (Mentor Graphics) gave a lecture in the afternoon. The symposium program is here.

2015.3.16: 2015 International Symposium on Dependable Integrated Systems was held on the Iizuka Campus of Kyushu Institute of Technology. Prof. S.M. Reddy (University of Iowa), Dr. N. Mukherjee (Mentor Graphics), Prof. J.-M. Li (National Taiwan University), Prof. B. H. Bui (Vietnam Academic of Science and Technology), and Mr. M. Kimura (Cloud Testing Service) gave invited talks, followed by research presentations from the Dependable Integrated Systems Research Center (DISC). The symposium program is here.

2015.3.10: Prof. Wen attended Japan-Taiwan Joint Workshop on Industry - Academia Collaboration in Tokyo.

2015.3.2: Prof. Wen arrived in Dalian, China, to start a visit to Dalian University of Technology.

2015.2.7: Prof. Holst received an overseas research grant from Kyushu Institute of Technology to support his planned research visit to Prof. K. Chakrabarty's lab at Duke University.

2015.1.30: Prof. Wen received a two-year grant from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for Japan-German research exchange. Joint research will be conducted between the Dependable Integrated Systems Research Center (Kyushu Institute of Technology) and the Institute of Computer Architecture and Computer Engineering (Universty of Stuttgart) headed by Prof. H.-J. Wunderlich.

2015.1.22: Prof. Wen arrived at Yamaga, Kumamoto, to attend the 72nd FTC Workshop (1/22-24).

2015.1.22: Prof. Wen has started to serve on the editorial board of Journal of Electronic Testing: Theory and Applicartions.

2015.1.19: Prof. K. Chakrabarty of Duke University visited the Wen Lab on January 19 and gave a special talk on Design and Test of Microfluidic Biochips. This talk was successfully live-streamed to HFUT V-lab unit in China.

2015.1.1: Prof. Wen has started to serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE Trasactions on VLSI Systems for the term of 2015-16.
