2020.12.14: A textbook on the design and testing of semiconductor circuits "はかる×わかる半導体 入門編
改訂版", co-authored by Prof. Wen, has been published and is now available
in all major bookstores in Japan.
- 2020.12.8: Prof. Sybille Hellebrand of University of Paderborn, Germany, gave a talk titled "Faster-than-at-Speed-Test - A Remedy for Early Life Failures
?!" at a DISC online event.
- 2020.11.17: Prof. Ilia Polian of University of Stuttgart, Germany, gave a talk titled "Stochastic Computing: Towards Enabling Rich Applications
in Constrained Systems" at a DISC online event.
- 2020.11.5: Prof. Amlan Chakrabarti of University of Calcutta, India, started to
give an 8-session online course on "Machine Learning" on Skype. This is the first attempt by DISC to make full use of
virtual learning for GCE (Global Competency for Engineer) enhancement.
- 2020.10.30: Prof. Liyang Lai of Shantou University, China, gave a talk titled "GPU-based Hybrid Parallel Logic Simulation for Scan Patterns"
at a DISC online event.
- 2020.9.3: Prof. Shu-Min Li of National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan, gave a talk titled "Wafermap Pattern Recognition with Artificial Intelligence
Techniques" at a DISC online event.
